Dr. Huang’s paper titled “Post-completion Error in Software Development” is published by the 9th International Workshop on Cooperative and Human Aspects of Software Engineering (CHASE 2016), the 38th International Conference on Software Engineering, Austin, TX, May 14-22, 2016.
The study presented in the paper finds that under certain situations, programmers make the same errors in the same way, just as people make mistakes in other activities. As the first attempt to predict the exact locations and forms of software defects at the early software requirement stage, this study is the monument to software defect prediction area.
